Purpose of research is to develop and test a technique perform an experimental study the vibration strength D16 aluminum alloy joints welded applying resistance spot welding. Methods. Test coupons were made from 1 mm thick sheet blanks A feature proposed implementation symmetrical loading cycle. During tests, number cycles failure depending on range vibrations was recorded. Annealing thermomechanical straightening carried out exclude helical bending after cutout. After deburring root facing, surface prepared for welding using chemical etching. The TECNA 8214N machine. current 30 kA, duration 0.1 s, electrodes force 180 daN. static shear joint studied UTS 110M-5 1-U tensile testing breaking 3.66 kN. peculiarity Results. As result statistical analysis results, linear mathematical relationship between logarithms amplitude obtained. Depending vibrations, characteristic zones destruction revealed. To provide possibility comparing results obtained under different conditions fixing samples, it use displacement per unit length work[iece as ordinate. Conclusion. or studying vibrational by cycle tested. For coupons, equality base metal achieved at value logarithm ratio equal 0.01.
